2023 Update
Newry SureStart is currently fully operational as we continue to follow the HSC guidelines. We encourage families to refrain from attending programmes if they are feeling unwell.
Important Notice
As you will be aware, Northern Ireland is entering into a period of partial lockdown for two weeks to try and reduce further spreading of the Covid-19 virus. In order to continue to support families Newry SureStart will continue to operate as follows until 9am on the 2nd November 2020:
- There will be a reduced presence in the office so phones will only be answered between 9 am and 12 noon daily
- All face to face group-based services will be suspended
- Some services will be replaced by ‘virtual’ groups using Zoom
- All home visits will be replaced with ‘garden gate’ visits and staff will be wearing face coverings and gloves. These will always be pre-arranged with families
