Midwifery
Overview
The SureStart Midwife supports antenatal parents to register with SureStart. Once registered she provides antenatal and postnatal advice and support through home visits, groups and 1:1 support in the community. This includes advice in relation to healthy pregnancies, giving birth, breastfeeding, responsive bottle feeding, baby brain development, infant massage and much more. The Sure Start Midwife provides additional services that compliment hospital and community midwifery services.
We currently run a weekly Breastfeeding Support Group, feel free to contact us for more information.
